The Eurostar from London St. Pancras to Lille connects with the TGV (high speed train) to St. Pierre des Corps in Tours, the total journey time is approximately six hours. Tickets are much cheaper if booked three months in advance. The cottage is a 40 minute drive from the station either by taxi or Avis, Europcar and Hertz all have car hire available at the station.By car

It is now possible to fly with Ryanair to Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) from London-Stansted Airport (STN), Dublin (DUB), Provence (MRS) and Porto (OPO). Shuttle buses costing 5 Euros run to the bus station in Tours city centre 6km away. Avis, Europcar and Hertz all have car rental offices located in cabins at the long stay car park, or taxis are available.Driving directions from Tours
Take the A10 from Tours and join the D943 at junction 23. Continue on this road in the direction of Chatillon sur Indre until you pass Loches, then you pass the village of Perrusson, the village of St Jean St Germain and arrive at the village of St Martin. Follow the sign for the village of St Hippolyte and when you arrive there, turn left at the restaurant square. Just after the church, turn right and descend the hill to the hamlet of Bourg Neuf. Cross the little bridge and look out for the first farm on your right called Le Puits d’Eau Claire. La Maison des Amis is part of this farm. Pass the main gate on the right and drive another 50 metres. There are designated parking spaces in the orchard which are signposted. The cottage is accessed through the cottage garden.
