With its 70cm thick walls the house is very cool in the summer and very warm in the winter. It benefits from gas central heating, for those cold winter spells and all windows and external doors are double glazed. The house was renovated 15 years ago, but has retained all the original features and warmth of its age. The downstairs rooms are tiled with the original tiles which retain the beautiful terracota colour.
